Eric Hogue, Speaker

Each year, Eric Hogue speaks to businesses, communities, chamber of commerce's, non-profit organizations, schools and a number of other groups about leadership, team building and how people can take action in their lives and in their communities. His belief is that life is too short not to try and accomplish all you can in the time that God has given each of us.

Eric's over-all belief is that there are those who read about history, and there are others who make history. When his time here on this earth is over, he wants to be one of those people who made history.

Please contact us, if you would like Mayor Hogue to speak to your organization.

Eric Hogue, Author

Each year the mayor works with school districts, teachers, librarians and students to encourage reading, the importance of a college education and the duties of our local government at the elementary school level.

Clinky the clown was a character Hogue created more than twenty-nine years ago. When he began to work on his first book, Eric decided  to use characters that had become a part of his own life. The mayor also wanted a way in which Clinky The Clown could live on, and so you'll now find him within the pages of Hogue's books. He also wanted to build characters in a way that children could relate and learn from them.

Mayor Hogue is now currently working on the second book in the series of books about Clinky The Clown. This time Clinky will be in the third grade with another mystery to solve and another lesson to be learned, so please stay tuned and keep reading!
